David Brown

David Brown is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal. A musician, singer, tattoo artist, and painter, he dropped out of university in 2005 after a professor told him he didn't need to be there to succeed in the field. Signed by Sony Music Canada in 2008, he won the SOCAN Award for Best Rock Song in Canada in 2009, before touring Canada, the United States, and Europe working with renowned producers. In 2013, he began tattooing, becoming one of Montreal's most respected tattoo artists. In 2024, he returned to his first passion: visual art. His deeply introspective works aim to create an emotional connection with the viewer by balancing beauty and meaning. For David, the more sincere a creation is, the more it resonates with those who discover it. This is just the beginning of his story.
